Submission Preparation Checklist


International Journal of Medicine and Health Innovations Perspectives (IJOMAHIP)

Authors must confirm compliance with all requirements below before uploading via the IJOMAHIP Online Journal System (OJS) platform. Non-compliant submissions may be returned for revision prior to editorial review.

I. Manuscript Originality

  • Submission is original and unpublished.
  • Not under review elsewhere.
  • All sources cited per APA 7th Edition while AMA for Medicine.
  • Plagiarism-checked; meets ethical standards; and proofread to high English standards.

II. File Preparation

  • Submit as one complete .doc/.docx file (all components included).
  • No author anonymization needed for initial submission; Template will be provided while the Editorial Team handles double-blind review.

III. Manuscript Format

A. Required Structure:
Title
Abstract (250–300 words, structured as needed for the article type with Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion and Implications Sections)
Keywords (4–6, alphabetical, comma-separated)
Research Highlights (What is the current knowledge? (3–5 bullets); (What is new in this study? (3–5 bullets)
Main Text (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Recommendations and Implications; Theoretical-Conceptual Framework, Review of Literature and other sections, if any as needed depending on the article type)
References
Tables/Figures (embedded)

B. Formatting Specs:

  • Font: Times New Roman 11 pt for Main Contents; 12 pt Section Headings (Other reformatting will be handled by the Editorial Team)
  • Spacing: Single, unindented paragraphs (blank line between)
  • Margins: 1″ (2.54 cm) all sides
  • Word count: Does not exceed 10,000 words total (including abstract, tables, and references), aligned with the article type.

IV. Tables and Figures

  • Embed near first mention with labels (e.g., Table 1) and captions.
  • Original graphics or with permissions; .jpg/.gif format, black/white printable.

V. Ethical Compliance

  • State ethics approval and informed consent for human studies while IACUC for animal and Chemical and Biosafety Committee for studies using potentially hazardous materials.
  • Disclose conflicts of interest.
  • Adheres to international research ethics (e.g., ICMJE, Helsinki).

VI. Supplementary Files

  • Survey tools, datasets, ethics docs, lengthy appendices.
  • Accepted articles: CC BY license (open access).
  • Authors retain copyright; grant IJOMAHIP dissemination rights.

VIII. Publication Fees

  • APC: 200 USD (≤3 authors) + 10 USD/additional author, due on acceptance only.
  • No submission fees.

IX. Final Confirmation

□ Manuscript is complete, proofread, and specific style-compliant.
□ All tables/figures/citations consistent.
□ Fully meets IJOMAHIP standards.
